We’re having a party to celebrate and view the Total Solar Eclipse, which will pass right over Lake Lemon and is one of the best places in the world to view this event. This is a ticketed event. EVERYONE ENTERING THE MARINA GROUNDS FROM THE ROAD OR THE WATER MUST HAVE TICKET, INCLUDING MARINA SLIP RENTERS! Once you have purchased a ticket online, you only have to show up and we will look up your order at the gate and give you your wristbands. You will pick up your event merchandise and free drink ticket at the Marina Store after entering.

DATE & TIME:
April 8, 2024. Gates open at 9:00AM now to make sure everyone can get in by party time and the party starts at 1:00PM Eastern but you may come early and we will check your ticket and get you your wristband.
Eclipse starts around 1:49PM and hits Totality at 3:05PM with 4 minutes 2 seconds of totality, then a recession until about 4:24PM. Gates will be closed at Marina at 2:45PM until end of Eclipse, so don’t be late! We will also stop all food beverage service around 3:00PM until about 3:15PM to allow everyone, including staff uninterrupted viewing time. All boats must be launched by noon this day. Temporary slips may be available for launched boats that don’t already have a Marina slip. (Contact Us).

PARKING:
Parking is free at the Marina while spots last. We will be arranging for overflow parking across the street, if our lot fills up.
DESCRIPTION OF FESTIVITIES:
The Totality will pass right over Lake Lemon and is one of the best places in the world to view this event. This is a ticketed event. EVERYONE ENTERING THE MARINA GROUNDS FROM THE ROAD OR THE WATER MUST HAVE TICKET, INCLUDING MARINA SLIP RENTERS! We are trying to keep the crowd reasonable and family friendly and make sure everyone is safe with eclipse glasses.
The Marina will be synchronizing music to the events of the eclipse that is Eclipse/Sun/Moon themed. We will have the Lighthouse Café will be open serving hot food and drink (alcoholic and non-alcohol). T-shirts are still available for purchase by pre-order (while supplies last). We will have additional Eclipse-themed merchandise available for purchase. Outdoor games will be provided for families to use leading up to the event.
BOAT LAUNCHING:
All boats must be launched by noon this day. Temporary slips may be available for launched boats that don’t already have a Marina slip. (Contact Us).
General Admission Tickets Include:
- Admission to view the eclipse at one of the best places in the world to see it; in unreserved areas on the Marina grounds
- ISO-certified Eclipse viewing glasses.
- Commemorative Plastic Cup (limited supply; first 200 ticket holders receive cup; everyone else receives frisbee) and one free beverage of your choice during event.
- We will have fun games to play, raffles/giveaways, food for purchase, and music synchronized to the procession of the eclipse to make the experience awesome!
