Lake Lemon is a 1,650 acre hidden gem of a lake between Monroe and Brown County, Indiana with unique natural features like the Little Africa Wildlife Reserve (where you can see swans, herons, cranes, and lily pads). The Lake Lemon Marina is the only marina that services the lake and features luxury lodging, a seasonal café at a working lighthouse, a convenience store with gas pumps, wet and dry slips, public boat launching, boat and other watercraft rentals, boat parts, bait, tackle, beer, wine, snacks, groceries, apparel and boating gear, tobacco, lift and dock sales, installation, removal, and repair, winterization services, and more. Our Marina is equal short drive to Nashville and Indiana University, Bloomington. Our lake is friendlier, less crowded, and features spectacular wildlife features and is just as close to Bloomington as, and a better alternative to, overrun Lake Monroe. The Marina has been serving the community since 1957 where it has been a full service marina and resort ever since.
We, the owners, are a father/son duo– Steve (Sr.) and Stephen (Jr.) — who have spent many seasons at Lake Lemon and have come to love it as much as all of you. We are very thankful to keep building and improving on a solid legacy of hospitality and community service on the Lake.
Big Steve runs the day-to-day and is the heart and soul of the Marina. Stephen is an attorney most days and an entrepreneur but will be assisting Big Steve as much as possible to make the Marina as great for you as it can be.
Our Sales and Services are headed-up by our Operations Manager, Tyler Hopkins, who is about as awesome and dependable as they come.
